Cure Tay-Sachs

Ken Bihn, President and founder of CTSF is a personal friend and leads the charge in hope that we can one day find a cure for this disease. Dakota, Ken’s daughter was diagnosed with Tay-Sachs. A few years ago, Ken’s words about Dakota and his committed efforts with the foundation still resonate with me in how I view life, how truly precious it is and how we should celebrate life everyday with our children – “what am I to do? Sit around, feel sorry for myself and watch my daughter go through this alone? What parent wouldn’t fight this with their kid – I want Dakota to know that I am standing beside her and fighting this horrible disease. This disease needs to be understood and that a cure can be found to prevent other children from dying”.

As we all know, life moves pretty fast and we don’t always take time to appreciate what we have. Every day is a blessing, and the world’s problems mean nothing when you are fighting for your kid’s life. For Ken, Julie and older sister Bailey, Living Life Together is all they want, and holding on to it is the only thing that matters.

At DCG, We will do all we can to support CTSF and hope that one day a cure will be found. A kids smile is priceless, their life precious. Visit the website.

The Cure Tay-Sachs Foundation (CTSF) is a non-profit organization dedicated to funding the research projects that provide HOPE for developing a treatment and/or cure for Tay-Sachs disease. The CTSF was incorporated on June 1, 2007 in the state of Ohio. It was started by the parents of children that are suffering or have suffered from Tay-Sachs disease. A disease with no treatment, no cure, and very little research funding.
